Ghost of a Rose

Lola She rly is one of my more tragic characters bless her...

She's 21. But she has a rather young face and body. Despite that, she was in love with a guy. They got engaged to be married.

He died of a hereditary skin cancer...

She blames herself for his death because she booked a holiday to Florida in the Summer before their wedding.

The rays of the beaming sun must have triggered the cells to multiply in his skin and giving him the cancer....

Why a white rose? Well...

When Lola came into the hospital room for a visit, she had a bunch of white roses for him and a get well card.

She entered to find him dead.


She was distraught and she became incurably depressed. She got better slowly by herself but she hardly speaks to anyone except Mika, she often goes into stages of manic depression and blames herself for what happened.

She never tried to commit suicide but she has hurt herself due to viscous cycle of her thinking that it was her fault he died and that she could have prevented it.

The doctors told her that the skin cancer would have erupted for any sort of rays and that his death was inevitable really....

But it didn't comfort her to know that...The guilt and regret constantly gnaws away at her, she becomes overwhelmed not just with sadness but sometimes with anger...

At one point in my game I am making from this, Blaize is going to mock her. She will say hurtful things and Lola lashes out at Blaize.

Of course, Blaize being a demon, ends up braking her arm...But Lola, enraged with a fury hell hath no, She keeps going at Blaize, Blaize keeps beating her up every time she goes for her, but she doesn't stop.

Eventually...Lola collapses from blood loss and pain. But after that scene Lola does not speak to Blaize ever again throughout the game.


IT'S ALL SO TRAGIC.
